AI-assisted review
What AI drafts, what it surfaces, and what stays with human risk owners.
RiskCurb includes AI assistance across the register. It is framed deliberately: assistive, never authoritative. AI accelerates the work. Accountable risk owners keep judgment and approval.
What AI drafts
- Leadership summaries: draft narrative for board and committee views, grounded in the register data
- Committee views: assembled exposure and progress text a human edits before it ships
- Suggested classification: category and type suggestions for new or re-reviewed risks
Drafts are starting points. Owners edit, correct, and approve them.
What AI surfaces
Reviewing every risk in a large register is slow, and patterns are easy to miss. AI highlights signals across the register: risks that may be misrated, entries with overdue treatments, themes across departments, and claims patterns that relate to existing risks. Surfaced signals route to owners as prompts for review, not as changes.
What stays human
Everything that reaches the register. Nothing AI drafts or suggests is applied without owner review and approval:
- Summaries are drafts until a person approves them.
- Classification is a suggestion until the owner accepts it.
- Signals are prompts for judgment, not automatic re-ratings.
Why this framing
Public-sector risk work is accountable work. Boards ask who decided, and the answer needs to be a person. AI in RiskCurb exists to give that person better context, faster. It does not exist to replace their signature.
Where it helps most
Teams see the most value in review preparation and in classification consistency across departments and owners. Both are high-volume tasks where judgment benefits from a good first pass.
