Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of RiskCurb.

Last updated August 2026

This is draft copy for an early-stage product. It is not legal advice and is not yet a binding agreement. Final policy language will be published before general availability.

01

Acceptance

By creating an account or using RiskCurb, you accept these terms. If your organization provides your access, your use is also governed by any agreement it has made with us.

These terms are a draft for an early-stage product. They will be finalized before general availability, and the final version will be published on this page.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service. If any part is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

02

Using RiskCurb

RiskCurb provides a workspace for public-sector risk management. Registers, controls, claims context, and reporting sit in one governed system.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the risk, control, and claims information your team enters and for how it is used within your organization.

Use the service lawfully and within the access your organization grants you. Do not use it to store information your organization has not cleared for its workspace.

03

Accounts and access

Your organization controls who has access to its workspace and what each role can see and change. Keep account credentials secure and current.

When a person joins, leaves, or changes role, adjust their access in the workspace. Activity carried out under your sign-in is your responsibility.

If you believe an account has been compromised, contact us at [email protected] so access can be reviewed.

04

AI assistance

AI features are assistive. Suggestions, summaries, and classifications are drafts for review and do not replace the judgment of accountable risk owners.

Human ownership is retained. A named owner decides what enters the register, and AI output should be reviewed before it is accepted.

Treat AI output as a starting point for a decision, never as the decision.

05

Fees and billing

RiskCurb is not charging fees at this stage. Before any paid plan opens, this section will state plainly what is charged, at what rate, and how billing works.

When paid plans are introduced, you will see the full cost before you commit. You will not be charged without agreeing to a plan.

Any billing terms will live here, or in an ordering document this page links to. Nothing in this draft authorizes a charge.

06

Term and termination

You can stop using RiskCurb at any time, and workspace owners can close an account or remove members as their organization requires.

We may suspend or end access if the service is misused, or if continuing to operate it is no longer viable. Where circumstances allow, we will give reasonable advance notice.

This draft does not yet set a data-return window after an account closes. The final terms will state one. Our aim is a fair period to export your records.

07

Disclaimers and liability

During this stage the service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and we do not claim a fitness for any particular purpose beyond what the product documentation describes.

RiskCurb organizes risk work. It does not replace professional judgment, and decisions made with its output remain the responsibility of the people who make them.

The final terms will limit our liability for problems arising from the service. This draft sets no cap and none should be assumed. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

08

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the product develops. When they do, the updated version will be published on this page with a new review date.

We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the product or this site. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to your use.

The version published here is always the current one. It is dated so you can see when it was last reviewed.

09

Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to [email protected]. We will reply personally.

Changes to the service will be communicated through the product or this site. Material changes to these terms will be published here.
